Why I Love Shoes????

I think my love for shoes started because I am a short person.  I am 5' and when I put on my 4" pumps I am about 5'4 the average height of a woman.  I always bought a lot of shoes, but the passed few years I have purchased more than ever.  I had so many shoes that my girlfriend sent me to Walmart to buy the 6" clear tubs to keep me organized.  I have almost every closet in my home filled with "my shoes"  and my husband doesn't have a place now to keep his shoes.  I have a cedar closet upstairs so my husband is turning it into a shoe closet for my 100+ pair of shoes.  I say to myself that even during a recession, I can't resist a great deal.  I can say that I love nice and expensive shoes, but purchase only when their is a exceptional deal and I can purchase for less than $50.00.  Believe me, I can purchase $100 to $200 shoes for less than $50.00 by shopping based on the time of the year. I just can't settle for heels, I must buy a pair of boots and flats to complete the color scheme.
I must admit that I became hooked on the tv series a few years ago after having surgery and sitting watching late night TV "Sex and the City" and as you may have guessed that Carrie Bradshaw wears the best and most beautiful shoes on the series.  Manolo Blahnik became legendary when his shoes had a starring role as Carrie Bradshaw's shoes of choice on the series.  He has a twice-annual sample sale. This means, prices are way below what you'd find at retail—leather heels, but don't forget the bag to match the shoes.  Finally, I get the most popular shoes via email alerts from various sites like: Just Fab, Shoe Dazzle and Zappos.
